Because of the particular regulations on funds in Germany, Quadriga sells certificates, or profit sharing rights, on the funds. Also known as "Genusscheine." This model is not unique to Quadriga in Germany. (Quadriga also sold savings plans, which will also be discontinued.) The sale of these will be stopped and new products are being developed, which will be sold in "Superfund Investment Centers."
All, This meassage is to once and for all clear the air regarding the speculation about my departure from Q.A.M. My decision to resign from the firm has absolutely nothing to do with my opinion of the product or any of Quadriga's strategies. I have decided to move on to explore other opportunities within the alternative investment industry. Best, Max Haller
Max, I do not know you, and I do not even know what your capacity was at Q.A.M. This all seemed rather sudden to us here at ET. So your post is appreciated. I have been watching the Fund and tracking this thread for clues to help me decide if I will invest in January 2005. Perhaps ET is not the most appropriate place for me to siphon info from regarding such an important decision to me. Michael B.
Thanks Max. Much appreciated. Aaron, Your answers, guidance and advice are plenty valuable here. Good money managers are judged by far more than their last few months of performance.
Thanks for the post - I notice you do not say you have a good opinion of Quadriga! Kind of a Clinton-type statement. Best of luck in your new venture.
We publish our monthly results within a few days of the end of the month, so look for July results in a week. You can find the results at http://www.schindlertrading.com/index.php?page=performance. There is also a box at the bottom of the page to enter your email address if you want monthly email updates (with a few words of commentary). We don't share or sell email addresses, btw.
so can someone please post Quadriga Fund B % returns for all months this year? Pleaaaase? Or it's such an elusive thing?
I don't have an opinion of Aaron as I don't know him or his fund, but more as a general comment, since when?
