Quadriga Superfund - Managed Futures

Discussion in 'Financial Futures' started by USAtrader, Mar 22, 2004.

  1. Do you think that the private email that you received gave you the right to post that publically?

Did you get his permission? I would not appreciate the posting of this info if it were a private email.

I do not know Max, but professionalism is tantamount in the business of trading.

  2. Am I missing something? I did not read where the poster was revealing details sent in a private email? What are you talking about?

And, why would someone's resignation be considered private?

I found out Max resigned, and it had nothing to do with an email. And, again, how would his resignation be considered private?

  3. I did receive the email. I am not sure why ES would consider it a private matter, but reading some of ES's posts on other threads today, he seems to be wound tight.

Anyway, the email gave out the name and number of the person taking over for Max. I don't know that the news should bother me, as people come and go. But, in the back of my mind maybe it does raise a red flag (granted, without any rational grounds).

    Good luck all.

  4. No comment as to your other remarks about my posts today, are you following me around? If you received an email that was public then I understand. But if it was a private email, I would not appreciate it. Remind me never to email you.

Official announcements and replacements would become public sooner or later. Perhaps Max Haller emailed some people in his private list in advance. I really do not know. All I know is its not a public official announcement until now, HERE ON ET!

I am not a limited partner in the Fund. I am watching it for a decision in January 2005 as to my investment or not in the Fund.

P.S. I guess I am an old fashioned sort of gent that follows the old school of thought concerning integrity, humbleness and privacy.

  6. This must be a joke. Again, the first poster did not say anything about an email. In fact, you were the first one to bring up an email.

Snooptrader said he got an email. But, Snooptrader did not reveal any private details.

Do you make a habit of sticking your nose in everyone else's business, or just the people here on ET?

  7. I just assumed it was an email or a personal communication by phone or some other means, as it was NOT PUBLIC or it would have been quoted by now.

When snoop revealed it was an email, that was enough for me to figure it out.

Apparantly, when an email has a disclaimer like the one wifey posted, this is a legal means to keep it private with a remedy for folks that abuse it. If you received an email with this at the bottom from ANYBODY, it is there for a reason. I really do not know how these Funds handle their communications, but wifey has cleared this up.

But who really cares? I just like to maintain integrity and professionalism, which does not seem to be important here at ET with its most recent guests. I am noticing the ET member roster is downgrading daily and I truely do not know how much longer I will contribute here.
