QQQ & SPY diverge

What does SPY have to do with your QQQ put - were you trying to hedge SPY with QQQ?

 

the qqq is heavly influenced by apple. apple just broke out and is up big in the last few days.

 

Maybe your position will get some juice after the Fed speaks tomorrow. Today's intraday reversal should have helped. What the OP said is true, AAPL carries a significant weight in the Q's, (over 14%), and looks unstoppable (for now).

 

If you knew one simple thing, you would not have asked that question after the fact, or you would have known the answer after the fact, if not before the fact.
