QM just stopped trading

Trading is not supposed to end till 2:30. Why is this a reoccuring problem?

 

you sure there isn't a 15 min break between 12:15-12:30 ?

 

wierd wtf. i swear ever since i started trading this thing a month ago, it seems like the rules are always changing. for a few days it was trading between 2:30 and 3:15 etc

unless i'm just flaking out

Trading Hours (All times are New York time)

The contract is available for trading on the NYMEX ClearPort® trading platform from 7:00 PM Sundays through 2:30 PM Fridays, with a 45-minute break each day between 2:30 PM and 3:15 PM.

 

dont know about that..


IB keeps flashing that NYMEX down due to technical problems imo

 

NYMEX ClearPort has halted trading due to a technical issue at the exchange.

NYMEX ClearPort® Trading will be in a pre-opening state at 12:45 PM EST and will open at 1:00 PM EST.

 

maybe everyone is trying to figure out how to get out of their longs....

NYMEX has announced that their markets will enter preopen at 12:45 New York Time,
and reopen at 13:00 New York Time.


What does "enter preopen at 12:45" mean.

 

preopen is kinda like pre-drink...you're not ready to get drunk yet...but you're getting there...so preopen is getting ready to open
