Is it possible to do continuation charts for futures contracts in qcharts? If so how?
If you mean "continuous contract" charts - the answer's no.
To do them right, you need to do more than just paste the end of the 2003 March chart to the start of the 2003 June chart - you have to normalize and massage the data across multiple contracts to create a continuous set of data.
Most realtime datafeeds don't do it, there are some data services that have offered continuous data for years though.
You can find out anything at all about qcharts via the yahoo group, tons of people post and read there.
There is a service called "FutureSouce" which has nice continuation charts. Only thing I didn't like about it, it is a web-based program.
