  5. Interesting.

I can say that I have raised over 25 million in the last 4 years, From private investors for Oil Drilling in the US.

I have also raised far more from investors who have bought into Ranch Land in Brazil, Port Construction and Shipping in many countries.

I have also raised money for PRIVATE SHARES in maufacturing companies. The investors buying into private companies that manufacture all over the world.

This is the trend that I have been involved in over the last 4 or 5 years.

Keep in mind, I do not deal with Joe and Marry School Teacher. That being said, the "Smart Money" is doing, pretty much what Jim describes.

NON of my clients who have a net worth of over 5 million and higher, ever asked about any "Financial" instruments as defined by "Walstreet". I have had conversations with them about typical Financial vehicals and many say they have less than 5% of their money in the "Stock Market". They have not taken it out....they just let it sit and will pass that forward when they die. I would say 85% have zero interest in the Stock Market.

I have yet to fund any Currency (Other than for myself) Plays or actual raw material plays as in Sugar, Rice. I may see if I can put something together with a buddy of mine from CBOT.
