  1. so true, objects are made up of mostly space! many things once counter-intuitive are now fact!

  2. i don't agree. one can remain skeptical while open to potential abnormal or unusual occurances/results/creations. science shouldn't be a blindfold.

  3. Science is not a blindfold. Science is a clear and true lens that does not distort. It is a filter that prevents your brain pipes from getting clogged with bullshit. Faith is a blindfold. Accepting the improbable at face without full and proper verification is naive.

  4. The video is silly, completely ridiculous. Parlor tricks for a science-ignorant audience. For the steaming towel, look up chemical handwarmers and sodium acetate. The claim of counteracting gravity through thought doesn't bear discussion.

However, I disagree about acupuncture, becuase its effectiveness is measured by the well-being of the patient. For some, it has at least a placebo effect, and if that makes people feel better then it "works." Also there is at least some logic to the argument that directly stimulating the nervous system through contact may produce some effects on the patient.

The human body is an electromagnetic machine running up and down our nervous system, the body is surrounded by an electromagnetic aura that can be photographed.

Why is it so hard to imagine that one could learn to control and harness said electrical force?

The nervous system runs in paths, that can be stimulated in certain points that can revive a person or disable, promote healing as well as damage... fact not fiction.

I remember in jr.high, early 70's, listening to an astronaut give a talk, he said that most of what was taught in our science classes in the next 10 years would be out of date or proven wrong. Imho, for the most part he was right. Our scientific research has grown exponentially and it seems the more we uncover the farther we are away from total knowledge.

Science is a clear and true lens that does not distort in relation to it's current understanding......... not necessarily the absolute truth.

Something funny to note, and it's telling us a lot too. That master that can knock out his students will get his ass kicked in a cage fight. It proves that the Martial Arts stuff is voodoo basically. Those students have to enter into the belief system and accept the demons that do that stuff... I've seen those kind of instructors be unable to affect somebody that is not in their school and I've seen one get hurt by a cage fighter.. the cage fighter realized that the guys stuff had no effect and he just waded in and kicked the guy in the chops a few times...

LOL... check out the underpinnings of our scientific view of how old creation is... they have the geologic column and they have the strata, that is how they judge the age of things. Read the textbooks, in one paragraph they say "the geologic column is calibrated by the strata" and in another paragraph they say "the strata is calibrated by the geologic column"... the definition of calibration is comparison to a known standard.. they use circular reasoning very deftly to say that their system is calibrated when it is pure fantasy as evidenced by how little of the strata matched the geologic column.. on top of that they discard all readings that don't fit their fantasy... sometimes it's not a lens, it's not the truth, it's pure and unadulterated bullshit masquerading...

One in a million would be more like 99.9999%. But the people that buy into this bilge are very unlikely to appreciate the increased improbability brought on by three orders of magnitude.
