Ya' know, if a republican had won that (I know, I know, but bear with me) then started talking about military action all alone, the press would be going to town with "Should he give up his medal?" They'd be polling people, pestering congress critters with this question and hounding the WH press sec at every turn. It would be THE ISSUE OF THE DAY for weeks. They'd be lining up past winners, showing them (mostly) saying "Oh yeah, he should most def give it up. " And for the record, I am *not* saying The One should give it up. Dude never did anything to earn it to begin with (as admitted by the folks who gave it to him), WTF should he have to earn it now?
Isn't that the truth. And even worse (for us now) he was the "better" of the two candidates in 2008. Our political system is FUBAR.
Yeah, he should have retired decades ago. He's an example of what's wrong with the two party, crony system. And can you imagine our community organizer going up against a former KGB operative?:eek: We're far beyond the point of world laughing stock.
