I don't even know what that means. Do you?! I don't think you can ever out-chicken a murderer in a game involving human life. Unless you consider yourself on a level playing field. Is that it?
It is a matter of priorities, wouldn't you think. Do you know anything other than the colorful name given to this arms dealer by the media, or indeed anything at all about what risk he poses to the U.S. if released versus what is to be gained by keeping him locked up here. Do you know what kind of arms deals he was engaged in and how he was caught -- that's been in the news.. From what little I know, I am quite happy with the decision. My guess is that the U.S. government knows more about the important considerations here than either you or I. I would think a Whelan deal is also in the works. These are the kinds of negotiations that may need to be done behind closed doors, or they can't be done at all. Whereas the lives of American citizens are clearly at stake, American security is probably not... This is precisely where secret negotiation is entirely appropriate. We, the public, do not have to know the details, nor should we care to. We elected a highly competent and very experienced President to this job, and he is doing it for us.
