Sorry, I will never believe in him with his EV BS. He is not a logical man. He was never fit for office in the first place.

Oh my Lawd vz, I cannot believe you are making me post this again. VZ, the guy was a retard. He should never have been Prime Minister.

What they do not think about is the next guy could be worst than Putin. I think Putin was still holding back in the war in Ukraine. There is obviously, a lack of planning on Russia's part. I am surprised Russia has not hit huge numbers of Ukrainian troops on the ground when they are preparing for a counter attack. Hard to figure out. How do you miss tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of troops massed in an area? That is not counting the numerous tanks, howitzers, HIMARs etc. in full view. You have spy satellites, you have drones to see it all. If the goal is to win the war, why not hit those Ukrainian troops with missiles, howitzers, massive sorties by fighter jets to wipe them out? There is no place to hide.

  8. @smallfil, me too wondered the same. But I think it must be strategy by the Russians,
like a wise chess move, though it hardly looks like. Indeed mysterious.

I think Russia wants to solve many problems there, incl. the problem of its exclave Kaliningrad,
which needs a free land passage through unfriendly Lithuania ("Suwalki Gap") and friendly Belarus to Russia.

I think the real game-changer will be the upcoming referendums.

I think Putin might be trying to end the war thru negotiation but, Ukraine with pressure from NATO and the US won't budge. So, it becomes a huge war of attrition to the bitter end then. Russia could finish this war sooner by deploying its heavy weapons in huge doses against the Ukrainians. It is probably, coming soon.
