Hello, I am new to the forum, but have been trading for some time. I am looking into insurance through options, but I need to know how exactly it works.. Lets say I buy this: 35.000 .SNDK\10V16\35.0 price:1.480 How many shares does that "count" for? anders
anders, Put options usually represent 100 shares unless there has been an adjustment. However, I would warn that knowing this is one of the most basic pieces of info to learn about options trading and I think you really need to study options quite a bit more before even trying one trade. Sorry to sound so direct, but again, please study puts and calls more before doing any trades. JJacksET4
