better off just hanging out on the shelf and checking in once in awhile,at least during trading hours
Generally speaking, and across all civilizations, some people seek. If they are skilled, they find a path. A mentor arrives and he knows the sequence of questions those who found the path will ask. The order of questions is invariant. Using a pencil to simulate something is just an unskilled attempt that misses the mark. Most find the Hermetic Principle fairly early on. The Essences wrote the Beatitudes long before they became public on the Mount of Olives. Later, they were discovered in the Dead Sea scrolls where they were kept protected for centuries and milleniums. Knowing that you know is an important concept; especially when you do not. Take a long walk on the desert sometime; don't bring any trappings with you.
No offense meant Jack but I never have any idea what you are talking about. You are more than welcome to post here as I'm guessing you are at least trying to be on topic? "I'm not a hunter but i am told, that in places like in the arctic, where indigenous people sometimes hunt a wolf, they'll take a double edged blade, and they'll put blood on the blade, and they'll melt the ice and stick the handle in the ice so that only the blade is protruding, And that a wolf will smell the blood and wants to eat, and it will come and lick the blade trying to eat, and what happens is when the wolf licks the blade, he cuts his tongue, and he bleeds, and he thinks he's really having a good meal, and he drinks and he licks and he licks, and of course he is drinking his own blood and he kills himself." "One evening, an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, 'My son, the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all. One is Evil - It is anger, envy, jealousy, greed, and arrogance. The other is Good - It is peace, love, hope, humility, compassion, and faith.' The grandson thought about this for a while and then asked his grandfather, 'Which wolf wins?' To which the old Cherokee simply replied, 'The one you feed the most'" Most likely neither of these stories are true. However - if you want to cultivate a peaceful mind during trading it may be best to think about what you do when not trading. After all - this is when most of the feeding is taking place.
Iâm a proponent of entrainment - pisses my wife off though when I go to bed w/ the earphones on (I sleep deeper / snore more) Always wanted to try a flotation tank - can't imagine the feeling RN
It builds up Many times Iâve been amazed/ dumbstruck over the stupid stuff Iâve done when stressed There were many days Iâd go backâ¦, after coming down⦠review what I did and think wtf was I thinking RN
Not questioning nor disagreeing - we're all different =============== I prefer a neutral state - neither positive / negative Rather at peace and centered RN
A good night sleep should be a core of your preparation for trading. In this video a former Navy Seal and sleep expert is interviewed from the perspective of optimum health and recovery for athletes. It applies to traders as well: http://www.barbellshrugged.com/1-qu...osterone-sleep-w-dr-kirk-parsley-episode-113/ Cliff's notes - sleep drugs don't give you deep sleep. Deep sleep is essential for producing growth hormones and testosterone. No deep sleep and it messes you up. There is a lot of info here.
The I who assumes, and the my who thinks, are different (says Jean Paul Sartre in answer to Descartes "I think therefore I am"). Have you ever considered the thoughts are not the observer?
