Put a Pencil in Your Mouth...

  1. There are flotation tanks. There is biofeedback. There is therapy.

I'm not an expert on meditation. I would suggest that there are many different versions of the same thing. If you were to choose a method I would go with the one that most naturally appeals to you. Some people respond to giving over to a higher power, some like have a teacher, some like ritual, some like discipline etc. Pick the one you will do.

  2. I think the experience of attainment of self-realization or whatever you want to label it is beyond words. I also believe the Buddha didn't want people chasing an experience - hard to be in the moment when you are thinking about the "goal"; even harder when the moment is the goal.

    Hey SS

(may come off as controversial – not meant to be)

    In general

    Any war ever fought
    9/11 (both sides)
    The holocaust
    Pick a religion

    ===========

    Trading specific

In a losing trade – and every tick move in one's favor – they build a case for holding out longer
Arguing trading consistently – is impossible
How many can say – deep down inside – still resides the notion someone "knows"
Anyone trading their opinion – then attempting to justify it – win / lose / or draw
Any act from a trader.., in defiance of what price is doing (assuming one is trading directionally)

    Just a few examples Sir

  8. If thought then emotion then chemical release then mood.

    Chicken and egg thing.

Assuming one is healthy (ha ha), what comes first? I have always assumed my thoughts were the origin.

DB (and others) keeps pounding away that the market doesn't know you exist, along with the lines and blah, blah, blah that we draw. There is a lot of truth in that statement outside of trading, I am finally beginning to realize.

Finally beginning to question all of my ideas and assumptions about my experience in this world.

Its almost like you have to get out of your head to look in your head.
