People Been there, done that, and sorry to say, it's a scam. I don't know if they set out to scam people, but in the end that's what it is. End of story. Anyone wanting more info, contact me off list.
Quote from Bankster: Well I made $325 trading Alex's/Pureticks calls on Tuesday so he definately knows how to trade. Another shining example of why new traders should have to undergo serious training before being allowed anywhere near leveraged investors. 1 day's profit proves Alex can trade similarly to sitting in a garage proves Alex is a car.
If you think your going to join a trading room and become profitable in 1 week then yes run far away very fast. Anything worth doing in life takes time. I trade Alex's calls too. I have losing days but my winning days far out weigh those. I've been trading since 1999 and know how to manage a position. For ever user who wants to quit and validate their negligence/laziness by calling something a 'scam'. I can give you the 10 of our current and previous users who will tell you the opposite. Anyway. Have a good trading day tomorrow. Geoff
Don't bother asking these questions. You'll never get an answer, other than 'We took 64 points out of the YM yesterday!!'. whitster is right that risk/reward ratios are often cited inaccurately. However, with the kind of stops and the kind of targets advocated by these people, 95% of traders are going to lose money. 90% accuracy? If these people had a system that delivered 90% accuracy or whatever the hell is necessary to justify a 40 point stop/10 point initial target, do you seriously think they would be shilling for nickels and dimes on a public chat board? I mean, come one.
This is always the last refuge of a liar/con artist: "It's not us, it's YOU!" They of course know what they are doing and if you can't do it, don't blame them! Don't be fooled. He says he can give you ten users who will "testify" to how great the room is. Interesting... isn't that what all purveyors of snake oil say? I'm sure there are 100 people who will join me in saying it's garbage. They admitted to a few angry subscribers. How many are there actually? We'll never know... BTW, I've got some great beachfront property in Iowa I can sell you on the cheap.
money I can't blame your reactions. When i started trading in 1999 I joined over 10 services. Only made money at one and that one disappeared. All the rest were scams. They modified their track records, the trade caller didnt actually have a trading account. Things of this sort. All I can say is that I'm close with Alex, hes been doing this since 1970 and is a reputable guy. He does not however have the power to rewire someones brain, or fix other such problems as under capitalization that could be casing trading losses. I'm not what you call a follower. I wouldn't deal with Alex if he was a scam artist. Regardless of how much he was paying me. There is more to life then money. Passing with a good conscience is one of my priorities. Cajun
Actually, there are lakes in Iowa with sandy waterfront properties for some of the well to do folks. I guess technically one can say there are beach front properties. Great fishing but no surfing. Mark
