We are long overdue for Alex to have one of his rants about punks and reminisce about his days of working as a Mall Cop at Roosevelt Field in the 80's!
First off the profanity doesn't help your point--it just shows off your ignorance. Secondly-- I get walked on in life all the time. I'm called 'too nice'. As I've said in previous posts I wouldn't be part of a business that is shady or scam related. Feel free to do background checks on Alex and myself. Or better yet join the room and see the trades unfold in real time. Why would someone run a room if they could trade so well is always the next question? Diversify!! Alex makes only about $1000 a day trading now and teaches to about 100 guys in our room which is a great business and makes good money for less risk. He has 30 years of trading experience. If someone wants to take a 'class' and hear his insights on the market then let them be. Honestly do you think we'd have 100 people connected if there was a scam going on? You ET guys need to study up and get with a program. Every positive email, post and message on our 'customer feedback' is genunine as well. Now considering the fact that over 80% of day traders fail you could say EVERY system/method is a scam because the majority of people on here and in our room ARE losing. But we have a lot better numbers. Only about 65% of our users blow out. Which is great if you think about it. Ok my 2 cents. I feel wordy this morning. Alex is a real trader and I take his calls for better or worse. Not all will win but over 75% do. Now I do know some room owners who don't trade, don't keep a track record, manipulate their results, charge $1000 a head for 200 people seminars etc.. But you have to weed out the good from the bad. Allright, I apologize for the profanity, but if I took a poll and got almost everyone to agree that if you validated your service on any one of the sites aforemetnioned, and got most peolpe to lay off of you and maybe even send some postives (and business) your way, would that not be the end all to all of the crap you take??? Just an honest question thats all.
Cajun: This is a false statement. You expect me to stay away from your snake oil marketing, and you post this rubbish? It works both ways Geoff. surdo
I believe (I'm not 100% sure) that Alex is a discretionary trader. Thus, those verification sites mentioned are not suitable because they're more suitable for non-discretionary methods and/or for those using a mechanical system. At least I know that for fact about two of the prior mentioned sites. Also, there's been a few vendors that have shown up at ET and shown brokerage statements and their broker contact info for verification (e.g. Tony Oz). The bashing did not stop, the personal attacks did not stop, the profanity did not stop et cetera until the vendor was long gone from ET. Funny thing was that those on the attack didn't show their own statements when asked. Also, traders didn't line up at the door to try their services and maybe that has more to do with the fact that those guys were discretionary traders and not using some code nor mechanical system. As for Puretick, it can't hurt to show something from themselves or from clients besides just realtime trade calls. I would prefer to see the broker blotters of a client. Then again, if I remember correctly, I think Spectra did show account records or trading statements of one particular client here at ET. However, it may have been just one day only. Also, it would be interesting if a client posted a journal here at ET or posted their profit/loss statements in the Trader P/L Journal thread. Yet, based upon ET past reputation with others that have done such, I doubt it will increase the number of clients going to Puretick. Answer this question... Would you subscribe to Puretick if one of their clients posted daily profit/loss statements here at ET showing their trade results to be profitable ??? Here's something else to think about... What if someone (a client that doesn't want anybody to know they are using Puretick) already is doing such and hasn't disclosed that their profit/loss statements (profitable so far) is via Alex signal calls and some of their own signals. How would you guys treat that ET member??? I already know the answer based upon ET history and I don't expect it to change any time soon. P.S. I'm not defending Puretick nor do I use their services nor do I want to use their services. I'm just curious how you guys would behave towards them if they or a client showed verification of being profitable. Mark
Having 100 members at any given time is not a feat with all the advertising you do. It's called turnover. Moron. Wonder how long the average subscription span is for a member? No I don't want you to answer that because it will be bullshit like everything else you say. It was just a question for others to think about.
I most definitely am willing to show mine if they are willing to show theirs! Yep, several one shots, actually. They were for different days with a big space inbetween one posting and the next ... basically demonstrated their knack for getting $125 dollars out of the YM utilizing anywhere from 10 to 15 trades. I know I don't have to explain to this extremely sophisticated group how bogus that concept is. It would have to be done in a legtimate way, with posts everyday for the period of time that the poster is a client of Puretick. If they started posting and then abandoned the journal and stopped posting like allenhobbs did when he went into a drawdown it would all be for nothing, and prove nothing (except what we've been saying all along), that they're shlls, con-artists, and crooks. I personally would not subscribe to their services ... but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to the seasonal migration of nOObs that trapise through Elite Trader looking for someone to assist them with their trading, and I would do so in good faith that their needs were being attend to. I've given you my answer Mark, but I sincerely doubt we're going to see what you have spoken to here in your well reasoned comment anytime soon ... rockhoundz comes to mind as a poster who would make a great test example!
You make several very good points. Becuz I'm stupid I did not realize that Alex' method may not test on Collective, so I guess it'll just have to lay the way it is. One fact I know for sure--a complete newbie is unable to ascertain whether or not he or she is in fact getting a quality education from many of these sleeze bags.
WRONG. From collective2, you just enter the stupid trade as if giving to your broker. Collective2 tracks it. Same with Timertrac, and I am sure, some of the other tracker services. For example: Buy 2 contracts, @ESM8, at market (lmit/stop/whatever). Also allows you to enter stoploss/profit target, time to enter trade, etc. Discretionary has nothing to do with it. Or is it assuming that Puretick's trades are unable to be sent to a broker? Otherwise, they are easily trackable. The reason they won't is, because it likely does not work!!!
