  1. Jesus Christ, please. It must be Sunday. This is laying it on a bit thick, even for you guys.

Simple question. 40 point YM stop, 10 point initial target means at least an 80% win rate is necessary for profitability.

If these snake-oil salesmen had a method that delivered an 80% win rate, what in the hell would they be doing shilling it on a public forum? They could trade it and be wealthy within xx years.

They've been 'trading since 1970' and they're out here pitching newbs on their system?

    Please.

  2. i'm sure they have a hindsight result of 80% with their sim charts.

''trading since the 70's'' and hes running a room LOL

they apparently make enough money to pay whatever the ET sponsorship cost is

  3. Exactly,

I don't see why people have such a problem grasping that simple concept.

  4. Yeah you get enough people per month to sign up @ $250/month a pop, and as long as you keep the new meat coming in, it doesn't really matter what the turnover is.

If they can even get 10% of the current ET population to try for at least 1 month, that's about 9000 x $250.....

Lots of money....and I imagine it's unlikely that 10% of the population would sign up for that crap...but even at 1 percent of ET, appx 900 people paying for 1 month of membership would be about $225,000.

Then you gotta figure they start making these bleeding heart posts about how you must keep at it for a long time in the chat room or you will fail, so that way they can eek out a little more subscription errr...tuition money from these poor hopeful souls.

That's not to mention any other forums they shill on. Lots of dirty money to be made.

Nice racket. Who the hell needs to trade? They don't give a damn about trading. They'd be offering Beanie Baby chat rooms to housewives if this were the 90s again.

Too bad money can't buy character or honor. All the fancy set-up names and software in the world can't make someone a decent and honorable human being. By hey, some people are able to live without those niceties (honor, character, etc).

  6. In the words of one of their clients:

09:27:25 {prospero:jammer} this is a disaster. i cant read this

09:27:48 {prospero:jammer} this is useless to me. pls cancel my subscription

LOL Of course, there is no way in hell I would be prepared to totally wade through the void of commonsense that is the PureTrick Chat Log archive...those were a couple gems I picked up during my cursory review.

    Thanks for the info.

  8. Unreal, I've never seen these.

Look at the top one. 13 round turns, $155 in profit. What's that, about $12 in profit per round turn?

Okay, let's see. A 40 point stop on the YM with a 10 point profit target. And here we see $13 average profit per trade.

Hmmm... anyone see anything wrong with this picture? Anyone care to do the win/loss rate calculations necessary to make this 'strategy' workable?

What a joke. I guess the people who give these scammers money don't ever bother to look at the numbers. In this sense, they deserve to lose their money.

  9. Thats the thing, puretick say people will get a high win rate with them, not that they will make money over time. Subtle
