Man, you have to have quick fingers to type in those orders at 9:33 am after calculating your stops etc. Good for you! Just curious about your FDO order. Did you place a stop market order at 56.01 and get filled at 56.03? Thanks, +-*/ Math_Wiz
i have hotkeys. when i enter i should know the stop since it's based on the low/high of the bar i'm entering on. once i fill i can set a stop real fast.. i have a webapp to calculate the TGTs for me.. the main issue on firing off fast orders is i might not size them correctly. sadly in the case of FDO i was a light on the # of shares... sizing down pretty much assures it of being a winner. FDO at the open was trading with a 2-4c spread. i set my entry to trigger at 56.01 with a bid up to 56.03 and filled at the worst possible price. (insert HFT rant here?)
