    LMI constantly holds such tournaments
and they come in different durations (one-day, two-hour)

  5. Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone by wishing better luck next time. This is what I literally meant - "if there is another Traders' Contest to come, we hope you can do better there!"

I know you might be coming from a culture where this pharse could mean something different, but in my world it means just what it says :)

    what does this mean
    blocked $1000.
if you want to charge for answering questions
then it should be mentioned up front

    block
blocked $1000 mean that you have place 2 limit orders (each one 500 margin) and the LMI or VOLFIX have blocked this margin.

  9. Hi,
this $1000 only means the amount of margin currently used for your open position. It doesn't affect anything because we have a max position size and a scaling plan in place, so don't worry.

  10. Day 2. Trend and Counter-Trend

As we all know, trend is your friend. However, it's often difficult to catch it at the very beginning and so many traders try and play counter-triend "while the prices are still good". In the rare reversal days that works, but in most cases the stop losses of counter-trend players are hit one by one, feeding the trend to continue.

Here's an example of 2 traders who were guessing which direction ES was to take yesterday. One took a long tade and held it for the most of the day, exiting close to that day's high. Another trader was taking his chances to catch a reversal.

    Let's see how it worked.

It could be a matter of co-incidence, but trader 1 (nickname: goodscalper) is currently the 2nd top trader of our contest, while trader 2 (nickname: handlar.trade) is only the 14th (out of 173 participants).

Here is the top traders of our Contest as of now.

Good luck to all of you! It's becoming really competitive!
