How can one find the truth that one does not yet know

Damn that is a good question

First a caveat – I am / can “only” speak from my experience (view point)

I view the truth in two ways

    The “absolute” truth

My “perception of the absolute” truth

The closer I can bring my perception to the absolute – the better off I am.

I had to become objective – completely

I had to open my mind up to all possibilities (how I think – not what) but put in protective stops (resolution mechanisms)

I had to learn how I learn

I had to identify the “absolute” truths about what I was trying to accomplish (trading successfully in this instance)

I had to verify the absolute truths were in fact the “absolute truths” – not my take on them – then I would know them to be absolutes

I had to identify and set aside my prejudices, beliefs, preconceived notions, essentially any/ all baggage I was carrying around

I had to wrap my head around those “absolute” truths, completely adopt them, and diminish/ eliminate / change my baggage which did not align with the absolute truths

eta the above four were a wash - rinse - repeat process - till I got it right

We could get into a discussion about the absolutes of trading, or specifically how I learn – but for it to benefit a person – I believe that person needs to make the journey – prove to themselves the absolutes are absolute, learn how they learn….

Then that person has an investment, (of time and effort) (blood, sweat and tears in my case) – and that investment will make the journey a meaningful one – one which will last a career/ lifetime Sir

    Hope this helps Sir

  2. Let me begin with a thank you and take the discussion to where I think it leads:

What if the absolute truth was unable to be known? Does your perception of truth become solidified by mirroring the absolute(by being unknown) in that particular case?

    Sir

Not sure your point - but here "is" an absolute truth of trading

Price will do what price will do - Period

I will not go any further into the absolute truths of trading - beter we figure that out on our own - imo

    Yes Sir

Do I know why price does/ did/ will do..... what it does/ did/ will do - no and I don't need to - I accept that fact

  5. Wrong. beacause ultimately perception is reality and the world is a great delusion.

Usually, when a thread becomes long, gems like the above two sentences get lost/overlooked. Good points TG.

    But

Would you also agree – come full circle – use the psychology on a chart – to profit

Don't know this Heisenberg, but I'm guessing he really knew how to party; if you know what I mean.

Red, I'm not sure I understand your sentence here.

Do you mean that someone with good and/or lots of experience can see the fear of others by proper reading of the chart, and use that assessment to profit?

    Yes Sir

One can see emotional (dumb if you wish) money come into the market - and take advantage of it

    Your thoughts Sir
