the environmentalists were right. given the choice of maintenance or paying the fines they would choose the fines. Its just business sense. It cost maybe 20 million in fines, but it costs 10's of millions just tobe shut down for a couple of weeks. Especially at oil at 80$. So which economic, nobgobbler here can admit that the enviros are right.
