Herman Cain has about one-tenth of the wealth of Lil Wayne so let’s put Lil Wayne on the Board of Governors instead.

    Problem solved.

I think the problem with Trump is largely the same issue that Obama suffered from.

Both were elected as “change” candidates but in both cases, the changes that have been brought to fruition were lack luster at best.
(EG; the dropped ball called Obama care & Trumps stifled efforts to build a wall with immigration reform)

The President craves assurance and loyalty and the reality regarding Herman Cain being nominated to sit on the board of the Federal Reserve is that his appointment checks both of those boxes.

I often wonder if The Presidents behavior is an early symptom of Dementia or another age related mental illness.

Getting The President a physical and mental health exam by a reputable physician would go along way toward calming my own personal questions surrounding The Presidents behavior.

  3. Are you saying the white house physician, Navy Real Admiral Ronny Jackson, who was appointed by Obama when he was president, isn't a reputable doctor?

  4. President Donald Trump falsely stated his father Fred Trump was born in Germany. The fourth time he has made such a claim in less than a year. We can only hope it is a brain tumour Ronny Jackson has missed. https://www.washingtonpost.com/resi...aws.com/public/BQ34UCPEBVGUFBPXBHMQP6XO2A.jpg

what I'm saying, is that Presidents Trumps medical records were confiscated from his previous doctor.

    https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/tru...medical-records-seized-raid/story?id=54862457

and that his current dr, Ronny Jackson, regardless of whom confirmed him obama or otherwise, has displayed an astonishing lack of judgement and irresponsibility. His judgement is questionable at best.

google Ronny Jackson for laundry list of articles about his stunning lack of judgement, here's a good one about mike pences dr warning the president about ronny jacksons issues. https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/30/politics/karen-pence-doctor-privacy-ronny-jackson/index.html

    Hey Piezoe...
Tell us when and under what circumstances the Board can actually dictate policy to the privately owned (they are owned by the shareholders) regional FED banks who appoint five members to the FOMC...

go.. ahead tell us...not just generic statements but by what vote count.

My thesis is that Cain or alec baldwin are as good as anyone because its all kabuki.

What a load of baseless, ignorant crap.

A businessman's job is not to think as a shoe salesman would. This is coming from you, someone with no actual experience in business - and of course you would say something as uninformed and clueless as this.

A businessman has to think of way more than shoes going out the door. He has to think about rent of the store. Employee wages. Healthcare cost. Cost of goods and procurement of supplies to make products. Profit margin. Cash flow. Depreciation. Debt levels and leverage. Borrowing covenants. And on and on and on.

A businessman is the perfect person to be on the Federal Reserve to counter the ignorance of the real world economics that academics like yourself just don't get. Have never gotten.

Now, I'm not saying Cain is that businessman, and I will grudgingly agree that Trump is appointing someone who was on his side politically and will probably be so on the Fed. But he can't possibly do worse than the current band of fools already running the ship.

Thanks. As I said, it's happened under previous Presidents as well. I agree with your issues.

now back to the discussion on the Federal Reserve.

  10. Trump wants Cain because he's an advocate of cheap money. Isn't 2.5% already "cheap"?
