Don't think, too much, about the money -- Money will flow to you like a river, if you truly can master the trade process. Master your own mind, and master the Game. Only look at your numbers and P/L like once a week. But be obsessed with the trade process, the game, the understanding and chart board. Amateurs think about money, it over consumes them during the trade. They don't think about the craft process, but rather....a house, a car, porn and sex, food, luxuries, a fancy watch, status, shoes, clothes, etc etc misc misc Ken Calhoun 20,22
And the last and not the least as well as probably that best. I sign off this thread boys. I'll leave your cult in peace. There's no point to argue with faith.
i think for me anyway - its is harder much harder to accept success than failure. i still struggle with it to this day. everyone's ego migrates towards money and recognition of having "figured it out" i was no different. it took me decades to focus on trading and not fanfare. i guess getting older at some point you realize the people who you wanted to impress are not there or you don't care. you get over it and just know what you know. i was so lucky when i was younger to have many successful mentors and being exposed to a variety of ways to approach the markets. i know the smartest thing i ever did was work for other traders helping them automate and test ideas. i think in any business that you plan to become and expert at, you must get out and mingle and see how others are doing it. this gives you some grounding that there are many valid was to trade. i like to think i could take any far fetched idea someone has and with mm make it work. so now it's like fishing lures "what the hell do you pick" there are so many choices and everyone of them is the best to someone. m
I have set up an account at collective2. https://collective2.com/details/141488554 The swing trade strategy makes real time entries and exits with an estimated annual profit of 100 times. There was a big drawdown because I bought a wrong month MES and the spread is 40 points wide. So once I found out I immediately sold at a 40 points lower price.
