It is only fair that I haven't answered your questions, the very same questions asked again and again. So here are my answers.
These answers are based on what I have developed and it is currently automated.

1)What triggers a buy or a sell to open?
Nothing, entries are random. The only rule is: "enter the market randomly if there's no trade" There must be always a trade running.

2)What triggers an exit?
A target profit, it is dynamic level based on trailing stops. I use bracket orders where stops move along the market with the initial trade.

3)How do you size your trades?
Money management theory, account funds based. The size is always dependent on your existing exposure to the market.

That set of questions are what separates the Rules Based Traders(3%) from Artistic Intuitive Traders(97%).

Someday you might get that. Then again who cares?

Those are questions that rules based traders answer for every SetupAndTrigger in their Toolbox.
