Yes, that is technical analysis pure and simple. It does not have to be complicated to make sense and work. And if technical analysis did not work, why would traders be using it? I trade the stockmarket to make monies that I can put in my pockets to spend later on myself and my family. BS and half truths will only make me lose my monies. I trade my own monies so, if I did not have the knowledge of technical analysis, I would have ended up scalping the stockmarket manually and that would be a big painful chore with not even huge rewards. I would also, be blind as a bat without technical analysis to guide me. There is a wealth of information in the stockcharts if traders knew how read and interpret it and huge rewards too. That is where technical analysis comes in.
