Protectionism will solve US economic mess?

  1. Explained nicely CL. It is amazing how many people can not understand this simple concept. You know that in Brazil they have a 50-60% tariff on imported electronic goods. Laptops here cost at least 2.5 times of what they cost in USA. Microwaves cost at least 5 times as much (they are harder to sneak in). Some of that is also due to a different demand/supply curve, but the country would benefit so much if they removed some of their rediculous tariffs.

People have a stronger work ethic than the spoiled brats from the US. Crap on them if they don't want to work there's a global economy and that's good enough. You go take one look around Florida and it's a cesspool of drug users and people that aren't worth a shit. Places like Miami, Daytona, Jacksonville just to name a few have very very high crime areas. These people don't want to work. It's not the Chinese fault these people aren't worth a shit to the face of this planet.
