My PC Spyware doctor is showing tracking cookies during it's scan and cleaning them out.

I thought the bloody thing was meant to prevent them from jumping onboard in the first place.

How do I protect myself from these cookies.

    Thanks in anticipation.

Configure your browser not to accept cookies?

Many websites won't allow access without cookies enabled so you end up having to make exceptions for frequently visited sites. I use Mozilla Firefox and set it up to ask every time for cookies and I still find tracking cookies every time I run my spyware check.

if we all refuse to visit sites that require cookies, guess what will happen? the dorks on parade will have to re-program! cookies are never required!

Get a used laptop for $200, install Linux, and do all your surfing from there.
