  1. I could only hope it would take a tiny bit more than just changing the name .... to make you a man.

Anyway, Karolina sounds nice, more exotic, more cat like more like ...... naaah I am not using this synonim.... yet. :D :D

BTW. great day today in the markets.

  3. Dad worked and lived in Asia for a long time. He had a staff member who was killed by his wife so she could have "freedom".

He also mentioned that there were a number of marriages of the local girls to foreigners and that once these wives had access to the money etc then these husbands would inevitably have "an accident" (e.g. "drown" or have a "diving mishap" where they never had shown an interest in sailing, swimming or diving....)

Be carefull to ensure that you are well matched re education, interests, social background, age.

    best wishes

  7. Not having read any of this thread, it reminds me of a story my buddy tells of a guy he used to work with on the NY Merc. When the guy knew he was going to get divorced, he took out a loan using his home as collateral and sold his car. He then proceeded to enter the ring and rigged a trade with a good friend of his where he "lost" everything, including the loan and the house. He claimed to be so despondent after the loss that he would be unable to work again. When the divorce took place, there were no assets to divide up as he had "lost" everything to the market. The wife got to keep her car and the clothes on her back, and the judge order a nominal sum of alimony based on the guys financial picture at the time of divorce. Once it was all finalized, he somehow managed to make it all back, when his friend returned the favor of the rigged trade. The guy claimed to pay the wife a bit extra for "services rendered". This took place back in the day and is highly unlikely to work with todays regulations. But a funny story nevertheless.

  10. I think in China the number 8 is a lucky number and therefor two eights means she regards herself as being double lucky.
