So why would you get married? You're obviously not concerned with building a decent nest for your 'wanted' children since it's ok for you and your wife to shtoop whatever beast comes along.
Since your future wife will simply be a "container" for your seed, why getting married in the first place? To keep the bloodline going? How about adopting some kids? Edit: didn't see Annaland's reply.
Thats simply an EGO issue, how many billions have done that since the start of humanity. Does the world recognise the legacy of say a man who left 5 kids in East London in 1892. Hell no, the great grandchildren probably don't even give a FUC7 !!!. If one was to drop dead today, believe me, apart from your parents THE WORLD WOULD NOT GIVE A SH!T ABOUT YOU !!! Why do people generally have an inflated view of their self worth and their genes ???
It is futile to debate core values. Marriage is not about "fun", sexual excitement or other hedonistic pursuits. Marriage is about going through life together(companionship) and raising children. For someone who does not want to sacrifice for his/her kids this is an alien concept. But certain things are priceless. No amount of money, fast cars, hot women can replace the feeling of holding your firstborn. All the normal people will tell you exactly that.
Would you mind if I tried that one out next time I have the chance? "Pardon me, but you look like the type that might enjoy this sport I just got involved in..." This website just keeps on giving.
Hey, come on, where are all of the happily-ever-aftereds? Doesn't anyone out there have something positive to say about the whole thing? ... I mean, you've heard everything I've had to say (based on my expereince), I want to hear fro someone who has found the land-of-hope springs eternal, and kept it.. BTW, to the OP, it sounds like you just want to have kids with the woman, so why don't you just tell her "I want you to be the mother of my children"? Seriously, it might save you a lot of grief in the end.
