    Hello,

I'm a newbie trading looking to get into a prop firm trading remotely. Would like to know from the experience traders in this forum about what you guys think about being recruited by props firms that offer training posted on craiglist jobs section. Is this a red flag...I been recruited by one currently,,,went through the seminar and all and the are registered with the CBOE..everything seems legit..I requires a 5k capital contribution which i think is reasonable and would get 100k buying power after 6 week training

what are you guys thoughts on this and any advice is welcome

What is the name of the firm? Are you sure they're not going to give you the boot and pocket your "contribution" after a couple of bad trades? Since it's a "contribution" they can do that and there's nothing you can do about it.

Lemme guess, their headquarters are 40 Wall St/5th Ave & 17th Street ring a bell?

I won't trash them, I do know of a few guys making money there, sit down and watch for a week before giving them a nickle, and DO NOT pay for training.
