fny is a very cutthroat kind of place, it is one of the more reputable prop shops around. I think it is as legit as they come. 1) They are expanding into commodities/futures, if I am not mistaken, they have a London office, so it is expanding geographically as well. 2) They might tell you that you can take positions over night etc, but most of the people there are just scalping and day trading, very short term stuff. And the reason is due to the pressure from Don.E. So don't expect the same kind of operation as that of a bulge bracket prop desk. You will be sorely disappointed.
