I constantly hear all the fluff about how everyone can become rich and/or make a livelihood by prop trading. All this combined with all these "deals" and what the "training" is like. For me perhaps a good predictor of firm quality for a good trader is what percentage of traders earn more than management? Any thoughts
I did prop for a number of years and still do to some extent, and can tell you that alot of that fluff talk may have sort of worked years ago, but times have changed big time. It's all nonsense talk anyways...then and and now. The fact is, prop firms generally aren't making money like they used to. The model can still work, but no 'hype' works anymore.
