No, most of the chat was audio. I believe some members recorded the audio. I stuck around for about an hour after the chat, not sure if that was recorded or not. That was the good stuff. :)

  3. Quick question, there was talk about needing a series 7, is the series 7 need to trade futures? I know most stock firms require it but I wasn't sure about futures.

Also, how can some firms require a 7 and other don't? I know the firm that I'm at now didn't require me to get one.

No, you do not need a series 7 to trade futures. And the series 7 requirement is dependent on which exchange the firm belongs to.

Recording begins about 1-2 minutes into the chat. Ends when Don signed off (I did not "stick around for an hour after the chat" to get the "good stuff."

Don's audio was at a lower level than Mav's audio. So you will have to turn the volume up/down periodically.

If anyone has a more complete recording, please post it.

This is an mp3 file. If you're not certain how to play it, go to itunes.com and download the itunes player.

I could not attach the mp3 file to my previous post. I believe the reason is that the file is 18.1mb, too large to attach.

Does anyone know of a website where I can post the file and others can download it from there?

I would rather do this than send the file individually to other ETers.

Go here and upload it for free. Everyone can download it from there.

I think you have to enter everyone's e-mail though.
