I am thinking of starting a pairs trading portfolio in January, starting out with 80k of equity.

I am looking for a company with good rates and a good platform, preferably one where I can enter pair orders and have it worked in the market as the prices change. Won't need any handholding. In terms of leverage, I'm thinking of starting at about 10:1 and after a while of being profitable perhaps moving to 15:1 and then 20:1, spread across perhaps 20-40 positions I guess, thus using around 20% of equity on each side of a pair.

He could have some felony conviction from his stupid youth days that would prevent him from getting sponsorship for the 7 (if it has been less than 10 yrs).
