My series 7 expired, and failed for waving series 56.
My first language is not English, reading those regulations in the series 56 material is killing me. :(
I got a high score taking series 7. It'll be piece of cake for me to retake the test.

Does anyone happen to know any prop firm in New York City sponsor for series 7 and with good reputation?

    Any advice is appreciated.

    Good trading!

  2. Ya, some of the Series 56 questions are tricky, and there's some guesswork required. However it's much less comprehensive than taking the 7.

Traders on these boards have passed with both the CBOE study guide or Pass Perfect.

The prop firms that I'm aware of that sponsor for the 7 are Echotrade and Bright Trading. Both have solid reputations and have been around awhile. Not sure about NY offices though, I believe there's a firm in NY called G-2 that sponsors for the 7.

    Best of luck.

Thanks a lot for your kindly response,ScalperJoe.

Seems EchoTrade has an office in NYC.

Got home too late and I will call both of them tomorrow.

Thanks a lot and good trading!

Echo sponsored me back in about 2003, and at that point they even paid the exam fees for new traders. I've heard, but haven't got any facts to support, that you could possibly get a state agency to sponsor you. If this is true it is probably different for each state.
