would your trading performance be better
with someone looking after you at a prop
    firm?

Does anyone know of any prop shops that recruit newbies, i dont mind paying to get involved, would rather just start out on the right foot rather than pick up bad habits at the start and ultimately fail.

I agree, few prop firms have any training. I've been with the same company for 5 years now and never received any training. On the plus side I had the advantage of great buying power, good execution, low commissions (desk fee), and a software platform that serves my needs.

Anyway, a friend of mine has been with Bright trading. http://www.stocktrading.com/.
As far as I know they have training classes and share strategies with their traders.
