Prop fees

Discussion in 'Prop Firms' started by DayTrader10, Jan 17, 2012.

  1. Okay. So i have a prop firm picked just finalizing some stuff.

Their rate per share on a trade is .006.

What would be the final cost of each trade for say 1000 shares of stock? What other fees would be applied by the SEC, etc?

    Thanks in advance.

You should ask them. It should be $6/1000 on the buy side, same on the sell side plus the SEC fee which I believe is now around $15.30/$1mm. Plus, you will have either an ECN debit or credit for taking or adding liquidity.

If your putting up a risk deposit for your account then your being overcharged

you could learn what a competitive rate should be based on your needs by shopping around

What kind of deal are they offering you for that rate?
