Proof Sykes is a fraud?

  1. dudes, this guy continues to post a 95% win record.

    1) it is very likely bullshit

    2) if it isn't ,why are you all wasting your time with your pitiful trading, and not genuflecting at his feet, begging him to handle your money?

  5. So are you still not watching Sykes or are you doing it and then just posting after a loss? Are you still infatuated w/ him but want us to believe you aren't? In case you hadn't noticed, this thread consisted of you talking to you.

Now go back pretending you don't follow Tim.

He also owned up to the loss on that trade, fyi. I do not trade his method or calls, but it is nice to see someone post trades w/ real money in a real account that is tracked in real-time. Very few (if any) other 'gurus' do this, correct?

  6. I RARELY now look at sykes and the first thing I saw after a month was a diatribe on that stock and a large short (15000 shares) at 39 cents.

the stock hit 1.20 this am and he wasnt able to short any more since you cant borrow this for days.

he's still in the hole and could well have been stopped out at over a buck.

I don't trust the posted trades. Call me Mr Skeptic

PS , Are you enjoying the Stock777 rally, predicted back on 4/15/09 in pictures for the many reading impaired here on et?

  7. Last post for me on Sykes - the guy posts live trades via TimAlerts and then later you can see them in Covestor (which is linked to a real account).

As far as I'm concerned, that's 1000% more than any other service out there does.

Again, I don't trade his method or calls, just an observer at this point. Yeah, he got hit on this last trade but what I'm interested in seeing is how he rebounds from that. I could tell from his posts that this one stung b/c in his heart he knows this company is a scam but his brain said to cut his loss and wait.

So we'll see what happens, but of the many 'gurus' out there, Tim is one of the few that has done a lot to be as transparent as possible. You have to give him that. Now if you don't believe the posts or trades in Covestor, that's your business.

Tim has taken a different approach to trading education and after seeing so much trash out there (and having bought it myself) his approach can be a breath of fresh air for many.

    Flash in the pan? Perhaps.
    Great/good educator? Perhaps.

    Time will tell.

  8. He's running a frontrunning scam as far as I'm concerned.

Even if he doesn't 'intend' to.

The crap he buys and sells, all he has to do is get the timing right and the mere act of 'alerting' guarantees a move in his direction.

    He knows this.

So maybe thats why he doesn't trade for himself (privately) , no subscriber mojo that way.

This is the oldest scheme in the books.

  10. Are you talking to me? If so, as I've mentioned, I don't trade his picks. Just an observer at this point but he has been a very nice winning streak lately.

I think it's his niche that keeps my attention - find stocks that are actually manipulated (with proof, not what clowns around here claim) and then make money on these pumps and dumps. Interesting way to trade IMO.

But just an observer at this point.

    :)
