right, so now you're back to parroting the same thing you said before, which I answered here: https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...stops-covid-spread.358172/page-7#post-5375031 And also mentioned that you - yourself - stated how we could not compare Italy or other countries in Europe to Sweden because they weren't neighboring countries with similar weather, cultures, population density and so on. But suddenly Canada and Florida are good comparisons? Can you make up your mind?
It's a combination, dummy. So the island rhetoric works for you because it does not personally inconvenience you but face masks, "no that can't be true that they contribute to lower infection rates" are a different animal? Lol
Of course it is. The problem with GWB is you have to be very specific with him otherwise the goal posts move and he claims to never have said something or accuses you of saying something you never did. I hate being pedantic, but he's not an honest debater. so everything has to be recorded for posterity.
Anyone who brings forward actual COVID scientific facts to counter the fiction your promote from COVID-denying Tweeters and Bloggers is not an "honest debater". Pesky things these facts. But you can go back to following the fantasies and fiction promoted by your favorite sources.
No, not at all. I encourage people to disagree. What you do is say its bullshit, and then never show how it is bullshit. You attack people, not what those people say. You discredit sources, not what those sources are showing. You never answer specifics, just make claims. While at the same time accusing people like me of saying things they never said. That's why you're dishonest. Just look in this thread about the Canada v. florida comments. See what you've said vs. what you've shown.
How do you know? ... that masks work at preventing the spread? Where is the actual science and data. For every chart or study with a beneficial correlation... Tsing has presented charts show the mask statement or mandate or near 100 % compliance and and explosion in cases.
If your sources have their posts flagged by fact checkers on both Twitter and Facebook as being FALSE INFORMATION. And their accounts are regularly being removed for promoting conspiracy nonsense --- then these sources should be discredited for being complete junk. There is no reason to debate complete nonsense that comes from conspiracy nutcases on FB, Twitter, Youtube, and blogs. It is time for you and others to get your information from reliable mainstream sources if you want to have a discussion. We are not going to debunk post after post saying "prove this wrong" as you put forward the latest conspiracy crap floating around the internet. It is especially amusing to see that you current favorite Twitter source "IANMSC" for fabricated nonsensical charts has started a substack blog. I guess he knows that he is on the verge of Twitter removing his account for continuously posting false nonsense. Of course, he does not select a respectable place for his blog such as Blogger by Google -- since they remove blogs that post misinformation and conspiracy crap. Instead "IANMSC"'s blog is on substack -- the refuge for white supremacists, QAnon supporters, and anti-vaxxers.
Posting fabricated charts from COVID-deniers whose posts on Twitter and Facebook are flagged as FALSE INFORMATION is not science. Let's take a look at proper scientific studies regarding masks and actual COVID spread in society. There are many studies showing that masks and mask mandates stop COVID spread. Here is a small selection of the large number of available studies showing the effectiveness of masks in reducing the spread of COVID. Mask adherence and rate of COVID-19 across the United States For every 1% increase in average mask adherence, the odds of a high COVID-19 case rate decreased by 26%. https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0249891 Published: April 14, 2021 Association of State-Issued Mask Mandates and Allowing On-Premises Restaurant Dining with County-Level COVID-19 Case and Death Growth Rates — United States, March 1–December 31, 2020 Weekly / March 12, 2021 / 70(10);350–354 https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7010e3.htm Trends in County-Level COVID-19 Incidence in Counties With and Without a Mask Mandate — Kansas, June 1–August 23, 2020 https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/69/wr/mm6947e2.htm A powerful argument for wearing a mask, in visual form Real-time pandemic data paints a vivid picture of the relationship between mask-wearing and the prevalence of covid-19 symptoms https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2020/10/23/pandemic-data-chart-masks/ Oct. 23, 2020
If they are such crap it should be a breeze for you to point out the very obvious flaws in the data. Yet you never can. All you do is color your font in the hopes that no one will recognize the polished turd. Any chart - any one at all - including ALL of the ones from IANMSC (who, to my knowledge never supported QAnon or anti-vaxxers)...any one of these you want to challenge, you let me know. Until then, you're all hat, no cattle. By the way, many of us have all our vaccines. Just because we want to hesitate on the new COVID one doesn't make you an "anti vaxxer".
