Human behavior... My calendar says "weighted pistol squats, 3 sets to failure". That was my rational brain's entry. But my lizard brain, the reactive one, says, "don't do it, it'll hurt, you'll want to vomit, and you won't be able to climb a flight of stairs for a couple of hours. Just go for a walk, take it easy." My rational brain replies, "yeah, but that's temporary, think of the long-term gain, delay gratification! You can do it! Go, rah rah!" Sigh. Edit: meanwhile, neither choice is made, I sit and read ET.
So yet another chart from the COVID-denier. Maybe these states are smart for taking proper public health measures to limit the spread. Imagine how much worse it would be without proper public health precautions.
You don't think masks get dirty on the inside and the outside... after a few coughs from a symptomatic person and continued breathing. You know... there is a reason why many health care providers put on a new mask for each patient correct? How long does it take for a symptomatic person to make a mask dirty? One cough, one breathe? So isn't the correct question.... Do dirty masks prevent the spread of Covid overall?
could very well be. I'd like to congratulate you for actually offering an explanation/hypothesis for why the numbers are, rather than to simply plug your ears and claim they are false without backing your accusation up. You're making progress, GWB.
Masks are useless and are a tool of Marxist power grabbers. If you are sick with Kung Flu, stay at home or in the hospital until you're asymptomatic. ----Asymptomatic spread doesn't occur is what I've read.
Leg day, done. It's interesting, writing down my "dilemma" seemed to help my rational brain win. I also used an old trick from Duhigg's book, The Power of Habit (make your kids read it today!): "I'm not actually going to do legs, I'm just putting on my shorts." Lizard brain doesn't react. "I'm not actually going to do legs, I'm just warming up with light, painless weights." Again, no reaction. "I'm not actually going to do legs, I'm just going to do a couple of reps with this weight." Hmm. "Hey, that wasn't bad, let's keep going...!"
