I actually agree with this...Odyssey is hundreds of pages of bullshit which could have been summarized in 1/4 with just the action!
I think once you pass a certain number of pages in a book you are having way too much description in between action! Except Harry Potter....big print and artwork inside haha
To add to the discussion on these works, the Iliad and Odyssey were the religious texts (really spoken word in the oral tradition) of Hellenic world - you know the basis of western civilization. These texts have important moral and ethical values as well as historical significance. You can find aspects of these texts in today’s science, astronomy, medicine, law, geography, etc.

Democrats are clearly better in touch with reality. The face of the Democratic Party is the face of America; the Republicans look like an uneasy amalgam of white laborers and folks you'd expect to see in a golf course clubhouse.
