I need a c++ programmer as a summer intern. If you have done FIX connections before, that is a big plus, but if you don't I will teach you most of it. What I am looking for is someone who is smart and can turn around code fast. Don't let the intern part deter you. That is the way it is handed down to me by my superiors, but if I like what I see, YOU WILL GET HIRED. The ideal person is someone that loves to code in C++, and doesn't care what needs to be done. We are small and we all wear lots of hats, one day doing FIX connections, the next administering a Radius server, the next figuring out how to code Infiniband or 10Gb verbs for DMA. The exposure to markets through engineering will be amazing, especially low latency trading. You will learn a ton. You have to be able to come downtown Chicago on a daily basis.
