I've been using Amibroker for almost 2 years. It took a while to master their AFL language, but once I did, it provided all the flexability I needed. I was able to completely customize my stops and invent my own indicators. I use it for my equity fund and has performed great. The only drawback I know of is that it can't be used as an auto platform. For that I'm either getting Neoticker or Traderstudio, but am completely torn on which one to get. I like them both.

But I digress. With amibroker, if you are any good at excel, you can learn Amibroker AFL language.

Ok I have made a strategy this morning and followed BEAS short and it definitely worked.....sick. I am attaching picture of what I made. COGN was better but I bet that trade will get broken I bet cause it looked like a bad print and I missed it.

I recommend that you check out SysGen at http://www.trendengines.com for a different approach to backtesting trading systems. The system is under development with early versions available now.
