I am using every day pretty much the same windows on 2 screens - charts, tables etc. with extended desktop program. Can somebody reccommend a program to memorize my screens so after a restart I coud have the same windows on my screens? Thank you for any comment or a link.

  2. You could use a scripting program, (can probably find freeware) if you can record your keystrokes at/from startup.

TradeStation saves all of my screens automatically.
I usually hit save desktop/workspace before exiting and it is identical upon restart in the morning. What kind of charts do you use that won't allow you to save the layout? Sounds very primitive to me.

I use Macro express for that purpose , it's $39 and it's worth it every cents.
I use it also to record some macros to automate my trading.
Easy even if you don't know how to code a script.
