Hi, I have some metastock data that I used as my end of day data that gets updated every day. When I get this data from my data provider they only started the data at 1990. I have data in other formats that go back beyond 1990 and would like to join it onto the beginning of my existing data. Does anyone know an efficient and effective way of doing this? I don't know how much data you have but I have in the past used the datadownloader to convert a metastock file to an excel workbook file then merge the other data into the excel workbook, then reconvert the entire file to a Metastock file thru the data downloader. Have Fun.
