Thanks, Prof. I don't imagine it will kill me to do it manually, and heck - I might even learn something in the process :>)
Hi Bill: Looking at other markets, and specifically in the currencies: As most volume goes through interbank FX and is not precisely known. Do you apply your method to the corresponding futures or to the FX?. If FX, where do you get semi-accurate traded volume figures?. Thanks. JW
I only trade that which I have volume data for unless it is the pit commodities that my neighbors require I follow.
Heading to NYC today guys. I'll try to post some charts when I get to the hotel. Don't suck all the profits out of the market today!!
Anyone take the ES short today at 2:51 PM? Prof, I've been following this thread with interest and have tried to create charts using your methods (haven't tried the auto-labeling yet). I really appreciate your input here and the help you provide. Best, Fishaman
The autolabeling will really help. The oscillation you pointed out is a Breach. We don't trade from Breaches do to inconsistent strength. The Oscillation be for it (765.75 toward 774.00) was a perfect trade.
I believe he trades the futures, apparently the volume data is accurate . . . the data on spot is non-existent, I think. But you can always set up your signals on futures and trade the spot, no? They should move in tandem?
