Beautiful....I am getting to like the longer term charts, less noise. Bigger losses when they come tho (point wise)

  2. I fine tune the losses from the faster charts to be less.

  3. Thank you for the clarification Prof. Apologies if these question are basic, see my PM to you.

So if I'm using 2401 as my trading decision chart, them I'm using the 343 ERG (above +10/below -10) to determine the PPFs, breachs, breach PPFs and Match PPFs?

I'd also be checking to see if the 2401 histo is in prime (above +10 for shorts and below -10 for longs)?

In the 16807, I'm looking for the histo to be green for longs and black for shorts, regardless of whether its below (for longs) or above (for shorts) zero, yes?

Then I want to wait for 343 ERG to go below -10 for longs and above +10 for shorts and wait for it to turn color (red for shorts and blue for longs). Is there a minimum number of bars I should wait after it changes color, or is the first one adequate?

Then I wait for PF bar(s) and then confirm PF by looking to see if I get a higher swing low (for longs) or lower swing highs (for shorts)?

Just got a dual monitor setup, can add up to 4. Very nice, so much less flipping around. Wish I had done it long ago.

Saw a couple ways to get into this rally this morning. Straight 16807 in around 10:40am at 824 area. This was well after the 16807 osc up however, and the 177 was flat/negative. A 2401 entry after the prime 16807 up osc was around 10:17am at the 820 area. You had to ride that retrace down to 819 tho which was tough. Another later entry on 2401 was around 10:40 at the 823-4 area tho this was not near prime nor the zero line but it did match up with the 16807 long signal. The earlier prime 2401 osc around 10:00 would have got you in at 818 area but the longer term was negative so I skipped that one.

Also a nice prime 2401 long around 11:30 at 835 level. 16807 agreed. This looked more "perfect"

How would you have played it prof?

    Thanks

  7. I was flipping around on a couple charts today.

Long on the 2401 ES, about 11:20 am EST, was good for 10 points (crappy consolidation after that) and a long on the 343 Euro FX a few minutes before lunch EST was good for 50 pips. (another potential long setting up now)
Those first two were more than enough for today.

I agree the long ES at 11:20-30 was the best setup. Prime, the longer term agreed. The others I mentioned all seemed to have one problem or another.

Trying to get long here about 10:15am but the 16807 has gone negative so staying aside for now.
