TSI is the velocity of Ergodic. <hr>[edit] You can get the TSI code here (EasyLanguage): #13 on the list http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=146049&perpage=40&pagenumber=1
my software package must be wrong then, because they're identical In this pic: Green line = Erg/TSI Purple line = signal line (basically a MA of the Erg/TSI) Yellow = the rarely seen Erg Oscillator edit - unless you're referring to the Ergodic Oscillator as the TSI. <img src=http://elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=2194882 width=800> click on attachment link to enlarge
If a confined range doesn't vary, it seems like you're saying that constant range bars introduce the variable of an invariable.
Hey this site says it has "ProfLogic's Version" http://trader.online.pl/MSZ/e-w-Ergodic_Indicator.html
Could you post the remained of Tuesdays chart. From the PPF of 855.25 on... So far, my chart oscillations match 100% with yours...I'd like to see if they held match for the remainder of the day. Many thanks!
Here's the code straight from the book itself at google books: http://books.google.com/books?id=Om...&hl=en&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=7&ct=result
ok so that's the blue/red line. Ok but what is the histogram made of? Is it a different Ergodic? Something else? It's quite detrended from the Red/Blue line. post it up!
