Good thread, I have been using range bars for years with QuoteTracker. Does anyone here have the ERG settings for QT? Thanks.

  2. I understand now, I was thinking that you were talking about " nonfixed fractal "numbers .

  3. Please be advised the trade I made was not based on Proflogic'c method. I was just demo trading with ninja trader using zen fire feed since this is a free program.

At this point, I want to see if I can get my charts to look like proflogic's charts.

Please note that I went to ninja trader forum, and was able to find and import the ECO2new.zip into ninja trader.

Can anyone else that is using ninja trader, please let me know what else I need to do to get this to look similar?

Otherwise if this is impossible to get to work in ninja trader, I may have to bite the bullet and use trade station again.

  4. I found an Ergodic TSI code in the esignal forums. Can anyone tell me if this is close to what Proflogic is using. Also, What are the correct inputs?

    this is the default numbers:

    Length 1: 32
    Length 2: 5
    Length 3: 1
    SigLenght: 5

I can post the code if anyone needs it. Thanks for any help

  5. As noted I am willing to switch to multicharts also if I can get a copy of proflogic's file. Thanks, in advance.

  6. I did not see ECO2new, but found ECO2. After adjusting it for a bit, its pretty darn close. I cant the rising, falling color to work right, so I made it green, but the oscillations are similar, but harder to read.

If you experiment with it, you may be able to get the color change.

  7. Ok, I will see if I can make changes to the these settings with the demo version.

It looks like in ninja trader, you need to edit the indicator. So this would in fact work assuming again that the demo version allows the edit function to work.

  8. Ok, to show everyone that I am putting some effort into this. I have discovered in ninja trader, you just need to edit the parameters not the actual programming code of the indicator.

So here we have a chart with the 343 volume. Please let me know if I am missing anything else. Otherwise, I can move to the next step and review the actual strategy. Also, as noted I would not mind a copy for multicharts even though I am still working with ninjatrader so I got a pm from bernard that he has a copy but I need proflogic's permission for him to forward it to me. So anyway, still waiting for permission.

  10. At this point, I can use what I already did to place scalping trades just based on understanding price.

El Guapo, if you want to pm any other changes you would like me to edit in Ninja Trader, let me know, otherwise, I will re-create this in multicharts or tradestation when I have some free time in the future since I want to see if this method helps in my trading.

    Thanks in advance.
