    1-Close your eyes.
    2-Breathe deeply.
    3-Sip on a Valerian root tea.
    4-Slow down.
    5-Read the complete thread from the beginning, slowly, many times.
    6-Sleep on it.
    7-Practice, practice, practice.

    All of your questions, and many more, have been asked, and answered repeatedly before somewhere in this thread. You can't buy a book, eat the pages, and expect to understand and apply what the book says, before digesting it for a while.

    Everyone else that is interested in this method is very busy, either working, reading, programming or applying the knowledge they worked hard to acquire. While many are willing to help and perhaps discuss nuances, don't expect anyone to do for you the basic stuff that you can do yourself.

    Good luck.

  2. Well as I said to ProfLogic, I don't want to make assumptions. I am trying to keep it to one item per post as ProfLogic requested. You have been very helpful in the past, Whiskey, and such kindness is always appreciated. If you don't want to answer one, that's fine and I understand. But please don't add clutter to the thread.

    Best wishes...

  3. 1. Yes
    2. Both the ERG and the histo are important.

    I think I have the other stuff you asked about (PM), but not sure which computer it's on... will send it when I dig it up.

  4. Thanks, palinuro!! That's what I wanted to confirm.

    Then it seems to me that, just to get started, the Strength(N+2) indicator can be reproduced below the TradingDecision(N+1) chart & a separate price chart is not needed.

    I found an "Ergodic TSI" in Esignal.

    Is this the same (or close enough) indicator thats used here?

    It does however have 3 "Length "inputs and a signal line.

    Does anyone know the correct setting to use for the 3 inputs?

    TIA

  6. It doesn't hurt to study the TSI to understand how to assign the parms. It is actually rather easy to follow. I got this from the TASC article by William Blau on his True Strength Index (TSI)
    TSI = 100* EMA( EMA( C-C1, Slow ), Fast ) / EMA( EMA( ABS(C-C1), Slow ), Fast )
    Signal line = EMA( TSI, faster )

    ProfLogic's version is a variant. From what I've read
    TSI = 100* WMA( WMA( C-C1, r ), s ) / WMA( WMA( ABS(C-C1), r ), s )
    ERG = EMA( TSI, u )
    Histogram = 50* ( ERG – ERG1 )

    In earlier posts he gave parms as r = 49, s = 147, u = 49

    Thanks LostTrader...

    I can see ProfLogics is a variant based on what you posted.

    I am no programmer so does that make the Ergodic from Esignal useless for this methhod?

    If not I am still not clear on the 3rd Length input to use.

    For 1 and 2 I used 49 and then 147 for the signal line.

    Thanks for the assitance

    Hi Prof. Was wondering if you would please post a 2401 and 16807 chart for the ES from today's session. I think I've got my charts set up correctly now but would like to verify.

    Seeing any interesting swing plays setting up for next week?

    Have a great weekend and thanks in advance.
