  1. Someone claims this thread is wind-up. Any reasons?

    Because I lost money?

So you expect me to post 10k profit a day? That would not be a wind-up?

Just give me your reasons why it's a wind-up.

OK, here's a quote from this journal:

"After a number of small losses in crude oil, I nailed a winner shorting cl at 96.10 this morning. But a guru told me to hold it. He said the drop would be bigger, like at least 2 dollars. So I shut down the computer and went away, dreaming of 94 tomorrow.

But I couldn't help taking a peek at the price at Yahoo finance page toward the close. To my horror, my winner has turned into a loser.

Cumulative losses of last week+today: $2,500."

Are you seriously telling us that this is how you trade real money ?

  3. On hindsight, shorting at 96.10 was not a bad trade, but I didn't hold it. The guru was right: the drop would be bigger.

If I had held it, just look at today's price.

  4. still holding my long position in oil.

North Korean threatened to use nukes on US, if US doesn't do anything to respond, it's a sign of weakness, that will give encouragement to Iran. If Iran follows North Korea and refuses to back down, this Mid-east "crisis" will get worse.

Oil will go back to 95 in no time. Get long, my friends.

  5. And stay long. Jesse Livermore said: Money is made by waiting.

But then he is not a very good example, if you know he killed himself after waiting too long. (or maybe he didn't wait long enough?)

  6. IB TWS gave me no data: no bid, no ask, no price.....

I called them and was told it was internet service providers' problem, and that I need to call my service provider.

    Hilarious.

I told IB representatives that if IB doesn't provide data, it IS IB's problem.

The real reason: I suspect they are messing with my account with some kind of tracking software, and the software went wrong.

Let tell you that these brokers are indeed thieves watching you.

    They watch my account closely.

Proof: IB added symbols to my TWS regularly!

If you respond to this post, declare your status: trader or broker pretending to be trader.

  8. Still holding.

I firmly believe Israel will eventually persuade US to attack Iran.

Show them the painting with the bomb again, Netanyahoo.

  9. Imagine the looks they have on the institutional side. Perhaps they've installed the keylogger to fade you?

  10. Would you respond in kind if a 10yo approached you on the street and threatened to kick your ass?

    Stay thirsty.
